More than 24,000 North Carolinians lost their lives to heart disease and
stroke last year. Thousands more now live with disabilities from these
diseases. Thanks to the bold and generous leadership of our corporate
sponsors, a healthier future awaits. From the investment of over $10
million in research grants at North Carolina institutions to CPR courses
and physical activity programs in local schools, the American Heart
Association is investing the support of our sponsors into building
healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease for the people of
North Carolina.
We would like to thank the following generous donors who contributed to the 2010 Cape Fear Heart Ball. Without these leaders, we would be unable to look toward the future believing in a world free from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
